Lucky Champ Litter Pan : We adopted a baby boy kitten last month and he came with a pretty large litter box, but he wouldn’t cover his mess and he tracked litter everywhere. The cat books say not to switch litter boxes, but we wanted to give Lucky Champ Litter Pan a try. As soon as we took it out of the box he jumped inside of it and played in it the rest of the day with a toy mouse. (LoL!) The following day he watched me assemble his new box and then put his paws in it when I was finished. I was anxious as to whether or not he’d take to the new box, but he did quickly and I think he loves it! He now covers his messes and this box is so large and deep that I’m sure it’s more comfy. There is a bit of litter around the front of the box when he exits, but not nearly as much as with the regular boxes.

Graco Ashleigh Classic Convertible Crib : In response to a previous review, the instructions stated to make sure the springs on the mattress support had their prong connectors facing down before putting your mattress on it or it would tear the mattress. So, the people who complained about the crib tearing their mattress simply didn’t follow the instructions. The crib was relatively easy to assemble, with the only problem being that, when attaching the mattress support it was very hard to get tools into the small space to get the bolts tightened. Nothing 5 minutes of being diligent didn’t fix.

Mi Jam Pro Air Drummer : First, let me say that this is NOT a substitute for a real drum — it is also NOT made to hit on surfaces (it is really an air drum). It is unfair to judge it by saying “you can’t learn proper positioning of the drum” and compare it in this fashion to a real drum set. What this WILL do for you is teach you rhythm and coordination, and also help you see if you have a natural aptitude for drums.

Also, probably not the best toy for kids under 10. You have to have your basic coordination ready before trying this. So, again, unfair to say the toy doesn’t capture children, when it is actually not really a toy. It is not designed for children. Older kids and adults, however, would love it. For younger children, I would recommend starting with the Bop It toy, which is awesome teaching basic coordination, endurance and rhythm.

Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Baby’s First Blocks : I like this classic idea and how simple the design is. My son isn’t quite ready to sort shapes yet, but he loves taking them out of the bucket and putting them back in. They fit perfectly in his little hands. We use them in usual play time, but they are also fun in the baby pool and the bathtub – they float and they dry really quickly. Love the bright colors!

WORX WG788 Lawn Mower : This product was purchased a month ago and it is one of the best purchases I have made. As a single woman, I had looked for a lightweight, non-gasoline, lawnmower that was easy to use. The WORX 36-volt cordless mower fit the bill, so I ordered it. I was delighted to receive the mower as promised. It was easy to put together and took little time to prepare for use. The battery was easy to charge; I just plugged it into an electrical outlet and waited for the green lights to alert me that the battery was fully charged. My lawn is fairly small and I was thrilled when I cut the lawn for the first time, using this mower. It was simple to start and easy to maneuver. The mower cut right through the tall grass. Since the first time I have used WORX WG788 Lawn Mower to mow the lawn, I have used it two more times without having to recharge the battery. I would highly recommend this mower.

ProForm 850 Elliptical Trainer : Once it’s put together it seems very sturdy. But took 2 people 3 hours to put together. Almost everything is put together with an allen wrench, I recommend buying a nice Allen wrench with a handle to get some leverage as some of these pieces are very hard to screw in all the way.

I recommend 1) nicer Allen wrench, 2) exacto knife to get it out of the box and make sure you have an adjustable wrench or you may never get the pedals attached firmly enough which causes them to wobble.

I just stepped off of it and it was great, so if you can handle the assembly it’s a good product. The pulse handle bars seem flimsy, but everything else seems very sturdy.

Cloud b Twilight Turtle – Constellation Night Light : I had seen these turtles in a magazine and thought they were creative and unique. When shopping in a local store, I found them sitting on the shelf…and bought 2 of them, one for each of my daughters’ birthdays (turning 1 and turning 5). They were given recently and both girls love them.

It took some figuring to find the right placement so the stars would show up as best as possible on the ceiling. And like other reviews have said, the amger stars don’t show up real well…but the green and blue work really well. They add a soft, subtle light to the room without being too bright. Both girls – especially the 1-year-old – like staring at the stars at lights out time. I like the 45-minute timer…plenty of time for the girls to fall asleep, but not on all night.

Schwinn 460 Variable Stride Elliptical Trainer : I did a lot of investigating online and in the stores before deciding on this unit. Although I could not actually find one on the floor in a store so I could try it out, I read a lot of reviews on the 460 online. I find it to be very well built with good fit and finish. It is a heavy maching and it is tall so you may need a room with a high ceiling if you are tall. I was not available when it arrived so my wife and daughter moved it up 1 1/2 flights of stairs (piece by piece) and had it assembled and in use in less than 2 hours. The machine is quiet, rugged, and effective. It has a small footprint and everything works well. I looked at machines costing many times more that were not, in my opinion, nearly as well made. I am very happy with my purchase.
